Thanks for your patience on this episode - it’s a week late, but things are crazy and it’s out now, which is what’s really important 
In this episode, we jump into Bit Blot’s 2007 game, “Aquaria”, with a score by Alec Holowka (and he’s on the show with us!)
We jump into the experiential view of the game as well as delve deep into harmony and the chord progression, especially with its effect on “Aquaria!” I’ve been at it for a few hours, so let’s hope that everything works out this time!
(last post, there was some hilarity trying to get the right file to upload and into the iTunes cache… not sure exactly what happened, but let’s hope this one works out!)
ERRATA: Apparently, I said “I, IV and V are always major, II, III and VI are always major…” In a major key, II, III and VI are always MINOR! I totally missed that… sorry!

Hey everyone, Wow, two posts in just a few days! A big change from three months ago! In which case, it’s been a pretty interesting day in the history of video game music, so I want to put in my two cents about “Kind of Bloop,” a chiptune remix of Miles Davis’ “Kind of Blue,” considered one of the greatest classic jazz albums ever… also, one of my favourites. Furthermore, there’s been some knock on Sam Ascher-Weiss, aka “Shnabubula” and there’s some severely bad journalism going on there that, I believe, needs to be rectified right now. I do hope that you enjoy this and chime in on this issue, because it’s important! It’s important to look objectively and critically at the news because I’m sure that this type of thing happens more than one would expect… Also, please download “Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption” from OCReMix.org because there are a lot of people who have worked really hard on it and it is a TERRIFIC compilation - please support their work! … Oh, and VGDJ is back up! Yeah! Super excited about that!
