16 - Masters of the Craft

Happy Holidays, Happy New Year… and Happy Birthday? I hope that everyone had a tremendous holiday season celebrating your holiday of choice, the coming of a new year and the first birthday of “Into the Score!”

On December 29th, “ITS” turned one year old, celebrating its first episode “From Silence to the Symphony” and now its 16th episode on Blizzard’s “Starcraft” aptly titled “Masters of the Craft.”

There are a lot of quotes and tidbits from this show, so here are some links to check out!

Hey Mr.K I was wondering what you use to compose your podcast and where do you get your bongo’s from?? I’d like to know where to get some open source music or whatever its called. Thanks!!

To me, there are three question left in the episode.
    1) Are sound effects and the ambient sounds of the pieces of a similar type or do they have a relation (such as: being the same, likely, or wholly different)? I also think I remember that at least the quasi-successor Warcraft 3 had the sound effects corresponding to the position of the player on the map, making him/-er hear what was underneath their eyes. That would be noteworthy.
    2) forgot :-( 3) The interview. Okay, it obviously got canceled, but you said you had some material besides the interview on the specific musical traits of the races. This seems to have fallen by the wayside, but maybe you have sketches about that somewhere.
