After a month off, “Into the Score” is back on the air… server… what? It’s true, we’re back! This episode, we take a look at Capcom’s 1990 release of “Mega Man 3!” composed by Yasuake Fujita (or BunBun)
ERRATA: At 23:47, I say that we listen to “Snake Man’s Stage”, but it’s not… it’s actually Top Man. Sorry, my bad! (Don’t be hurt, Snake Man)
The graphical representation of the form in “Shadow Man’s Stage” which was talked about in the show is gone… which is really sad. It died with the old betamodradio server… sorry everyone!

The link doesn’t work
Hey Kyle,
Yeah, something is happening with the server, I don’t know what’s happening… Not cool. Sorry for messing stuff up, not my fault, but it’s something on the back end (which I don’t control)
Keep checking back!
Kenley
No problem dude. Now that the show’s back up and I’ve had a chance to listen to it I just wanted to say I love it and I hope you keep doing them.
Shownotes, shownotes, Shownotes, SHOWNOTES….shownotes? SHOWNOTES! show notes??
Like, where??!! Is it just me or is the link nonexistent? Yet, you mention the shownotes numerous times in the ‘cast!
Just wonderin’…
Sam - I totally just realized that I didn’t upload the shownotes… they’ll be up tomorrow. Sorry!
Kenley
The graphical representation of the form in “Shadow Man’s Stage” doesn’t work anymore.
Hey adamzap,
It appears to me that they are gone, the old betamodradio server went down and I’m not sure if the other copy was kept. Not sure why I would’ve deleted it, but it’s gone
sorry!
Is it true that the composers used (or were forced to use) these pseudonyms just not to be snatched away? It seems plausible, even though I would have thought that the musicians would not want to be associated with composing “mere” vgm. A related trend is composers such as Shimomura, Uematsu and Sakimoto to become “freelance”, but then compose for their original companies or franchises. What is _that_ all about- and is there a connection?
Some remarks on the sound hit the spot, but I’d care to know the context: is there source on how this old music works and is transformed from composition to catridge/cd?
In this episode, I found the trivia part to be a bit odd details. I know it has become commonplace to let some of it slip, but what exactly does the point of fighting rockman 2 bosses with rockman 3 weapons have to do with anything, or the fig leaf story they provide? Don’t take it rude, it just felt in retrospect, this fills the episode up a little which missed the interview…
Still, many fine things to be heard here.
