Hey everyone - this is a bit of a supplementary video for Episode 12 because it was the first presentation that I gave on Thematic & Adaptive music (as well as other compositional elements as well… like hydrogen, jk)
While I’ve scored another game since the time that I did this, I still hold a lot of the same ideals towards writing. It’s a bit of a big video, but it’s a more visual way to interact with the ideals of Thematicism and Adaptivity, which I think are kind of important!

After near-a-month off, “Into the Score” is back with an awesome, yet moderately obscure game to cover for this episode! It’s”Shivers”, put out by Sierra in 1996 for the PC Platform. I won’t disclose too much, but I’m telling you… there are even graphics involved in this one! This is a score that you don’t want off your radar!

After a month off, “Into the Score” is back on the air… server… what? It’s true, we’re back! This episode, we take a look at Capcom’s 1990 release of “Mega Man 3!” composed by Yasuake Fujita (or BunBun)
ERRATA: At 23:47, I say that we listen to “Snake Man’s Stage”, but it’s not… it’s actually Top Man. Sorry, my bad! (Don’t be hurt, Snake Man)
The graphical representation of the form in “Shadow Man’s Stage” which was talked about in the show is gone… which is really sad. It died with the old betamodradio server… sorry everyone!
